Adoption Planning

Making A Plan

A crucial part of your birthing plan is choosing the place where you’ll have your baby. This decision depends on a few key factors—

· Are you in a safe and comfortable environment where you live right now?

· Do you feel confident and trust your healthcare provider?

· Do you think you might benefit from extra support, like counseling, during this challenging time?

I strongly recommend discussing these questions with your case manager. Together, let’s come up with a plan for the best place for you to welcome your baby.

Housing and Safety

If you’re feeling stable and comfortable in your current living situation, you might prefer to stay and deliver in a nearby hospital. Some women have jobs or additional children that need to stay in their present housing. We help these women get medical attention and housing support in their locale.

However, if your living circumstances aren’t stable or safe, and you have the flexibility to travel, we offer comfortable apartments and dedicated case managers here in Utah. These spaces are designed to provide you with the support and safety you need.

Beyond assistance with shopping and medical appointments, our case managers facilitate group activities, connecting you with other women in similar situations. This shared experience can be a powerful source of support and comfort during this challenging period. Moreover, you’ll have regular meetings with a counselor, who is equipped to help you navigate any difficulties you may be facing.

Giving Birth

We’re more than happy to be there for you. If you feel comfortable with the medical provider in your area, that is wonderful. We will come to you and support you during labor.

Should you decide to come and stay in one of our Utah apartments, you’ll have access to a medical facility and OB/GYN team with a wealth of experience in assisting women facing unique challenges. They’re dedicated to ensuring your delivery process is as comfortable and seamless as possible. Your well-being is our top priority.
